Course Overview
The PECB CMMC Foundations training course provides foundational knowledge of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) model, including its fundamental concepts, definitions, structure, levels, domains, and practices. Participants become familiar with the CMMC ecosystem and how the model applies within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Industrial Base (DIB) supply chain.
The course also introduces CMMC practices, the assessment process, and the CMMC Code of Professional Conduct. Successful completion of the training is followed by an exam, supporting participants in demonstrating their understanding of the CMMC model and its requirements. The PECB CMMC Foundations credential is a PECB credential and is not approved by the Cyber AB.
