Training Room

Microsoft Azure Developer (AZ-204)

Develop modern cloud-native applications with Microsoft Azure. Learn Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, Container Apps, AKS, Microsoft Entra ID, API Management, Azure DevOps, and monitoring while preparing for the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) certification.

Course Overview

The Microsoft Azure Developer (AZ-204) course is designed for software developers who build, deploy, secure, and maintain cloud applications and services on Microsoft Azure. This instructor-led training provides hands-on experience in developing end-to-end Azure solutions using Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure API Management, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Event Grid, Service Bus, Azure Monitor, and Azure DevOps.

Participants will learn how to design cloud-native applications, integrate Azure services, implement authentication and authorization, secure application resources, monitor application performance, and optimize Azure workloads. Extensive hands-on labs and real-world scenarios help learners develop practical skills required for enterprise cloud application development and prepare for the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) certification.

Course Objective

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services.
  • Build scalable web applications using Azure App Service and Azure Functions.
  • Implement Azure Storage solutions including Blob Storage, Azure Files, and Cosmos DB.
  • Develop containerized applications using Azure Container Apps, Azure Container Registry, Azure Container Instances, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Secure applications using Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, Azure Key Vault, and Azure App Configuration.
  • Implement API Management, REST APIs, authentication, and authorization.
  • Build event-driven and message-based applications using Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Azure Service Bus.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure applications using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
  • Prepare for the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) certification exam.
