Course Overview
Adobe After Effects is the industry-leading application for creating professional motion graphics, visual effects (VFX), cinematic titles, animation, and compositing for film, television, digital media, and social platforms. Used by motion designers, video editors, broadcasters, and content creators worldwide, After Effects enables users to produce engaging visual experiences with precision and creativity.
This instructor-led course provides comprehensive hands-on training in Adobe After Effects CC, covering everything from the fundamentals of animation and compositing to advanced visual effects, motion tracking, masking, color correction, 3D animation, and rendering workflows. Participants will learn how to create broadcast-quality motion graphics, cinematic visual effects, animated typography, promotional videos, and reusable Motion Graphics Templates (MOGRTs).
Through practical exercises and real-world projects, learners will gain the skills required to produce professional-quality video content while integrating After Effects with Adobe Creative Cloud applications and modern production workflows.
Course Objective
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Navigate the Adobe After Effects interface and optimize project workflows.
- Create professional compositions using layers, keyframes, masks, and effects.
- Design engaging motion graphics and animated typography.
- Work with shape layers, parenting, expressions, and animation presets.
- Apply masking, tracking, rotoscoping, and compositing techniques.
- Create realistic visual effects using 3D layers, cameras, lighting, and particle effects.
- Perform color correction, stabilization, motion tracking, and object replacement.
- Design reusable Motion Graphics Templates (MOGRTs) for Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Export projects using Render Queue and Adobe Media Encoder for multiple delivery platforms.
Pre-requisites
Participants should have:
- Basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with Windows or macOS.
- Basic understanding of graphic design or video editing concepts is beneficial.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Premiere Pro is helpful but not mandatory.
