Course Overview
This course provides practical coverage of Docker containerization and Kubernetes application deployment and management. It begins with container fundamentals, Docker architecture, containers, images, networking, Dockerfiles, and essential Docker commands before progressing to Kubernetes architecture and core components.
The Kubernetes modules cover cluster management, kubectl, Pods, Deployments, scaling, Services, Ingress, storage, configuration, security, and scheduling. The course also includes microservices observability using Fluentd, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Grafana, along with an optional Jenkins-based CI/CD use case. CKAD examination preparation topics are included as an optional module.
