Course Overview
This four-day training course covers the requirements and implementation approach for an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS) based on ISO/IEC 42001:2023. It introduces AI governance, responsible AI, the structure and terminology of the standard, organizational context, leadership responsibilities, planning, and AI-specific risk assessment.
Participants explore operational controls across the AI lifecycle, including dataset management, bias mitigation, explainability, human oversight, external AI models and tools, incident handling, performance evaluation, internal audits, management reviews, and continual improvement. The course also addresses implementation roadmaps, gap analysis, resource planning, stakeholder engagement, and certification readiness.
Practical workshops and case studies cover AIMS scope development, stakeholder analysis, AI risk registers, operational procedures, implementation templates, and the development of a mini AIMS framework. The course concludes with an examination and feedback.
