Course Overview
Architecting on AWS – Accelerator is an advanced, five-day AWS classroom training course that covers key principles and practices for designing cloud architectures. The course consolidates architecture topics across compute, storage, databases, networking, security, monitoring, automation, containers, serverless architecture, edge services, backup and recovery, and cost optimization.
The course emphasizes the AWS Well-Architected Framework and the design of scalable, reliable, secure, highly available, resilient, and cost-efficient infrastructure. Learners work through use cases, demonstrations, group discussions, knowledge checks, and hands-on labs to apply architectural concepts using AWS services. The course is intended for solutions architects, solution-design engineers, developers, and other IT/cloud professionals who want to understand how to design and build AWS cloud architectures.

Pre-requisites
Attendees are recommended to have familiarity with AWS cloud computing, TCP/IP networking concepts such as VPNs, routing, subnets, gateways, segments, and user permissions, as well as multi-tier architectures and distributed systems. AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials or AWS Technical Essentials can provide relevant AWS cloud computing familiarity. Attendees are recommended not to have attended the Architecting on AWS course.
