Course Overview
This intermediate-level course prepares Azure administrators to plan, deliver, manage, and maintain virtual desktop experiences and remote applications using Azure Virtual Desktop. It covers key areas including implementation planning, networking, host pools and session hosts, session host images, access and security, user environments, applications, and FSLogix.
Participants also learn how to monitor Azure Virtual Desktop performance and health and automate management tasks. The course uses demonstrations and hands-on lab experiences to develop practical skills in deploying virtual desktop experiences and applications and optimizing them for multi-session virtual environments.
The course is aligned with the skills relevant to the Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty certification.

Pre-requisites
Participants must have solid Azure administration skills and prior experience with virtualization, networking, identity, storage, backup and restore, and disaster recovery. Familiarity with on-premises virtual desktop infrastructure technologies related to Azure Virtual Desktop migration is expected, along with experience using Azure PowerShell and Cloud Shell.
